It’s time for the Running of the Roses. Favorite, Big Black, is scheduled to run away with the race, but there are many who will do everything in their power to keep the Thoroughbred from racing.
Cocktail hour will open at 6pm & the show will begin at 7pm. Please arrive no later than 6:45pm.
Kentucky Derby attire is recommended with your most stunning Derby hat.
For dinner, enjoy a wilted greens salad with warm bacon vinaigrette, cherry tomatoes,and cornbread croutons. The main course will feature honey barbecued airline chicken breast with apple cider braised collard greens with smoked bacon and mashed sweet potatoes with brown sugar. End the evening with a blueberry meyer lemon cheesecake parfait!
The Resort at Glade Springs is taking extra steps to ensure the safety and well-being of our guests and associates. We are requesting the same from our associates and asking them to stay home. Our associates will be required to disinfect work areas/stations before, during and after each shift, wash their hands frequently and use sanitizer throughout their shift. Also, our associates will wear masks and gloves as required.
